TAC is een broedplaats voor culturele vernieuwing. De missie van TAC is om veelbelovende makers uit alle disciplines de kans te geven zich te ontwikkelen en te tonen aan de wereld. TAC biedt ruimte voor deze culturele vernieuwing en een podium voor experiment. Daarnaast biedt het creatieve werkruimtes voor makers: in 80 ateliers werken ruim 100 jonge makers. Elke maand organiseert TAC een programma waaronder exposities en performances, waar makers en het publiek elkaar ontmoeten.
